My Hobbies

While it is a rarity for you to see me without a camera in my hands, there are other things I enjoy doing in my spare time (what little there may be...).  I have been a volunteer firefighter now for over a decade, most recently with the Ashland City Fire Department, of which I am honored to be a part of. I have also taken up diving, working towards being certified as a Rescue Diver. With the help and patience of Alan Warf of the Blue Water Scuba shop in Nashville, I have never had to worry about having a highly skilled and qualified person nearby.  Thanks Alan

Although I need to get their photo’s put on this page. I have two dogs that I truly enjoy working with. One is ‘Mollie’, a German Shepherd, who was found at the Cheatham Dam and has been a great addition to the house. Recently, we added another dog, ‘Mickey’, a Golden Retriever pup that Mollie has been helping me train. I will probably put them on their own web page as training progresses. Both of my dogs were adopted from the Cheatham Animal Rescue Effort (CARE) and they have been great to working with. If you are looking for a pet, please call them at 792-DOGS.

Mollie has a thing for playing football in the backyard, by herself, and making multiple touchdowns, only she gets so excited that she flattens the footballs, permanently! (kind of an expensive sport in my book).
